We started Hello New Home in Swansea because we were landlords paying agents who charged more every time the rent went up, did less every year, and tied us in for twelve months. So we built the agency we wanted: one capped fee, no lock-in, and compliance treated as the job rather than a reminder email. Now we're taking it to Durham, Andover, London and beyond, with a Local Partner in each place and the same head office behind all of them.
What we believe
A fee should buy a service, not track your rent. So we cap it.
You should be free to leave. If we're good, you'll stay. So there's no lock-in.
Compliance is the job. We cut our teeth on Wales, which has the strictest private-rented rules in the UK, and England's Renters' Rights Act has now caught up. We'd rather do the paperwork than have you pay the fine.
Local people, central systems. The person at your door lives in your town. The contracts, the client account and the compliance calendar live in one place, so nothing depends on one person's memory.
Honesty wins instructions. If your property earns more as a long let than on Airbnb, or the other way round, we'll say so, because we manage both.
